Exploring the vision: 44 Sports Connect LLC

When I decided to launch 44 Sports Connect LLC, it all stemmed from a simple yet powerful desire to support my son, a dedicated #44 baseball enthusiast. After dedicating seven years to the demanding security industry, working grueling night shifts and all that jazz, I reached a breaking point. I made the courageous choice to step away, sell my house, and relocate to Tennessee without a concrete plan, driven solely by the need for change to avoid stagnation. For seven fulfilling months, I immersed myself in the role of a devoted baseball dad, attending tournaments and indulging in perhaps a bit too much food. During this time, the seeds of a new business idea began to sprout. With a lifelong passion for sports, assisting others in their growth, and exploring new horizons, I decided to combine all my life experiences into a grand vision. Taking a leap of faith, I honed in on three key focus areas. Collaborating with a College Recruiting Software Company, I embarked on a mission to help student-athletes garner attention from 52,000 coaches nationwide through an innovative profile-building tool. However, what truly ignited my passion was utilizing this platform to educate these aspiring athletes on crafting exceptional resumes, giving rise to 44 Sports Recruiting. My mission is to equip young individuals for the future and cultivate tomorrow’s leaders among players, coaches, and parents. Enter 44 Leadership Development, offering personalized coaching, mastermind groups, and engaging discussions on growth and leadership. And lastly, there’s 44 Sports Travel, a comprehensive travel agency catering to teams’ travel requirements, team-building excursions, sports packages, and adventure sports travel.

Self Awareness!

When putting together a strategy and plan for your desire to get a College Scholarship and to make the most of the Recruiting Software we offer you at 44 Sports Recruiting. One of the most important things you need is a real, honest look at your athletic abilities, academic interests, and work ethic. So many have the mindset that if I do not get a D1 Scholarship, I have failed. When there are so many amazing D2, D3, and Junco Schools out there that could give you money to help with your education, and you can have an amazing Athletic experience at these schools. You need to be honest: if you are 6’1, 240, and your dream is to play the right offensive tackle for Alabama, the odds are stacked against you. But there could be a Division 3 School you shine in. It’s important to be aware of your strengths and weaknesses and to get an Evaluation from an Expert who can help assess what level of College you can play at. Get your Team of people to help you in the process, Coaches Family, Academic Counselors Throw the net out wide to as many schools as you can through our Software and work hard in your Sports, Academics, and Character, and I believe you can land at the school you were meant to be at.

Be Intentional!

In Chapter 1 of John Maxwell’s book 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, he starts with the 1st Law, the Law of Intentionality: Growth Doesn’t Just Happen. The chapter begins with John’s question from his Mentor “Do you have a plan for your personal growth? John fumbled for answers and shared how hard he worked and outlined what he was doing to reach more people but all his answers he realized were based on activity not on improving himself.

When we desire to be healthy, have good relationships, a good career, and make a difference in this world. We have to have a growth mindset, John shares, “If you focus on growth, you will grow and always hit your goals.”

This is one of the reasons I got into the College Recruiting Space to offer amazing Software with 44 Sports Recruiting to High School Student-Athletes. I saw an amazing tool that could help bring value to get these kids exposed to the colleges they are interested in. But what excited me most was to be able to walk alongside these young Athletes and their parents and coaches in their process of being intentional in their desire to get a College Scholarship and see them grow in the process in their Academics, Physical Abilities, and their character.

So let’s go forth and be Intentional today and focus on your personal growth, and in turn, you will make an impact on others.
